Ashley Anderson

I have been an arts educator and a parent in our district for over a decade - visiting SLC classrooms nearly every day has prepared me to advocate for families, educators, paraprofessionals and all educational support staff, earning me the endorsement of the USEA PAC.

My priorities include equitable enrichment programming, a district ombudsman to reduce political pressure in our district, and improved faculty and staff support in union negotiations.

I am prepared for this role through my work as a teacher, SCC and PTA leader, as well as leader for Capitol Hill Neighborhood Council, Avenues Baseball, and the Utah Society for Environmental Education.
