Jeremy is a passionate advocate for public education. He believes that all students deserve a world-class education, and Ogden is where he chooses to help make that happen!
In addition to being the parent of an Ogden School District 3rd grader, I proudly serve Ogden School District as:
Secretary for the Liberty Elementary PTA
a member of the Ogden School District Advanced Learning Academy (ALA) Seering Committee
a member of the Ogden School District Land Use Planning Committee
a member of the District/Community Advisory Committee on Equity
I understands the complexities the school district faces having previously served on the Ogden School District - Board of Education in 2019 and 2020; during that time, I held committee assignments on:
Finance & Budget Committee
Student Achievement Committee
Community is important to me. I also serve the greater Ogden Community in meaningful ways that impact the education of children and youth as a member of the:
Ogden Planning Commission
Ogden Civic Action Network
NAACP of Ogden.
My professional experience as a Cancer Researcher, coupled with an MBA from Perdue and undergraduate studies in Biochemistry and Spanish from UC San Diego, have prepared me to seek out community-generated solutions to the challenges Ogden School District currently faces.
