Nancy Y. Miramontes

Nancy Miramontes considers herself a champion for learning – someone who hopes to unlock every child’s potential for lifelong success. Nancy grew up as a daughter of immigrant parents who valued education and regarded it as the path to achieving the American dream.


As a licensed school psychologist, Nancy worked for over 10 years with children and school teams in Utah, helping to facilitate access to education for all students.


Currently, Nancy serves as a school psychology graduate trainer and Professor in the Counseling Psychology and Special Education department at Brigham Young University. She and her husband, Jonathan, are raising three beautiful children, Abigail, Isaac, and Mateo.
